The beginnings and passion
What were the significant moments of the beginning of your artistic career? Was it a casual or passionate choice to become part of the world of cinema and theatre?
Vado: “It is never random, nothing ever happens without a reason.
I was doing business and business and I won the scholarship for the school of the Teatro di Roma: a precise sign to tell me to leave the useless numbers and go back to reading Hamlet.
The significant moments are the meetings: from directors to actors, from producers to teachers. “

Theatre and cinema tell stories with different instruments. As a theatrical director, what story struck you and would you like to bring to the stage?
Vado: “The stories I’m putting on stage and the ones I still have in my head are exactly what I wanted to do.
Projects and dreams are not meant to stay in the drawer.
Among all the characters you played in your career What is what you have left in your heart? What characterizes it?
Vado: “Amleto, Giuseppe di Barve Girls, Jago in Othello, Zeno di Centovetrine...
I could go on for hours.
They are always different, there is no point in common. This is the beauty of doing this job; otherwise I stayed in economy and commerce!
“I prefer works where things are written well and colleagues are generous; it doesn’t matter whether they are TV, cinema, radio or theater”
Considering that you are a movie and theatre actor, what kind of acting did you find between these two different realities which you prefer?
Vado: “The work is the same, it only changes the vocal quality.
I prefer jobs where things are written well by colleagues are generous; it doesn't matter whether they are TV, cinema, radio or theater
The cinema and its stories
I know you studied in New York in a prestigious academy of acting. What do you remember about your American theater and film studios? Have you found differences in the world of Italian and American cinema and theatre?
Vado: “There is no difference between American and Italian teaching. teachers exchange methods and experiences.
The only point away is that in the United States the players already in career, or even famous, are not embarrassed if they are judged, within the training facilities, by younger colleagues.
Do you prefer roles suitable for your person or away from your way of being?
Vado: The farther I am, the more I enjoy myself.
What are the right ingredients to stage a theatrical work?
Vado: Text, actors, money. I'll take care of the rest.
“I worked economy and trade and I won the scholarship for the school of the Teatro di Roma: a precise sign to tell me to leave the useless numbers and go back to read Hamlet”
What do you think about the future of cinema and theatre?
Vado: “I hope a rebirth; at the bottom of the poor concentration to which social media compels you has already exasperated the souls.
Art always has a way to resurrect.
Inspirations and references
What are the models you have inspired to become a cinematographic actor and theatrical director?
Vado: “How long do you have?
Renzo Ricci, Walter Matthau, Kermit dei Muppets, Garinei and Giovannini, Jack Lemmon, the films of Ettore Scola and those of Bertolucci, Bud Spencer, Dario Fo.. There are hundreds of them.
What is the soundtrack of your professional personal journey?
Vado: Prince, not any song, but all, without exception.
Who would you like to thank for your professional personal journey? What will your future projects be?
Vado: “For the project for the future I will be on stage in Rome with the show “Figlie di Eva”, with Michela Andreozzi, Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Vittoria Belvedere. Thanks also to you Mariateresa and in the good luck for everything”.
