Dear readers,

the show “The magical world of music of Nino Rota” was presented by the Peoni Art Teatro da Camera. The president of the association, Rita Pardo, introduced, together with the film critic Alberto Castellano, the show in the anniversary of the hundred years of the birth of Federico Fellini. The journalist of “Il Mattino” explained the binomy, which he defined as “typical” between Nino Rota and Fellini. “A magic combination where one of them owes much to the other” . Anita Pavone, actress and curator also the artistic direction of the Teatro da Camera Peoni Art has read to the public, before the beginning of the performance, the introduction of the show.

In the room there are more than fifty people, witnesses of an oniric journey on the music of Nino Rota and the successes of Fellini, interpreted by the star of the evening actress Lalla Esposito accompanied to the piano by musician Alessandro Scialla. The lights go off. One is on her, the star of the evening, Lalla Esposito, who makes her entrance between the audience with a suitcase. Pandora's vase where all the useful items are enclosed to face a fantastic path. The Neapolitan actress, through her luggage, reinvents the omnirism with strong psychoanalytical, sensual, greve terragne, son of the Romagna peasant atmosphere that Federico had breathed from birth.

From Gradisca of “Amarcord”, to the visionary femme fatale of “8 and a half”, passing through the unfortunate Cabiria or the melancholy Gelsomina of “The Road” are the female characters of the films of Fellini with which Lalla begins the extraordinary iter onirico. Then the Giamburrasca hat and then the music of the screenplay born from the idea of the novel of Vampa where stands out “Pappa a pomodoro”.

Lalla doesn't leave any success outside of Nino. He also sings the lustful melodies of the desperate Tunin anarchist of the film “Film d’amore e d’anarchia” to end then to the arrangements of the trilogy of The “Padrino” which unfortunately were not candidates for the Oscar in those years. The evening ends in the applause of the many spectators, happy and satisfied with having witnessed a wonderful show.
