ADDIO TO MAESTRO Ennio Morricone: THE RECORD OF ROBERTO AND MARIELLA MOSCHETTI

After having honored the master; today I wanted to meet two people that master Ennio Morricone knows very well. We have with us Roberto and Mariella Moschetti, friends of the house guitarist Rocco Zifarelli who has worked for many years with the master, who have known closely the supreme master of the world soundtrack.

Mariella,

What do you remember about Master Ennio Morricone? How did you know him?

“I met him at the wedding of Rocco Zifarelli where I was a witness and I didn’t realize immediately his presence, because he is such a reserved and humble person who has struck me so much about the appearance of this person who has marked the history of music and that in a world he tends to appear and always be present, he is always a step back to others”

Is there an anecdote that struck you at that time?

“Anecdotes I don’t remember them. However precisely because he is very reserved, hardly and exchanged humble reasoning. He was merely an educated and helpful person and answered questions quietly.”

What leaves Ennio Morricone in music and cinema?

“Leave in the meantime a huge void because there will be no more compositions made by him; however, he leaves a full “huge” because however he has enriched the world of music in a spectacular, exceptional way that will remain forever”

How would you like to say hello to the master?

“With a big hug as reserved as he was”

You've known him for a long time.

What do you remember about him?

“The most beautiful memory was the transfer that I made with him and with all the staff in Stockholm, when he made a concert in 2016. I've been through that trip, and I've been following the evidence that hit me a lot. During the trials, here it was difficult to participate, I was with them and I filmed with the mobile of the footage.

A series of films of the beautiful evidence because it is difficult to see the tests and Ennio Morricone sitting that directs the orchestra to his help, because of course it is spared for the main evening, and then having lived with him a series of gaps of these tests during which it sat, there was a snowfall I remember, and we sat down to take a tea (I also have pictures with him).

Anecdotes are so many and you can not say many because the teacher is a private person and you could generally meet during, at least for me, the tests during these concerts, they did nothing but talk about the things that went and that did not go because of course they had to calibrate the orchestra to their use and to their consumption in order to have the best result on the concept. He spoke above all of the things to be corrected of what was good”

What effect does it make you know that you were a wedding witness to his guitarist along with the master?

“I spoke to Rocco and told me all about their relationship and the master is very tied to Rocco Zifarelli. The only anecdote I can tell you and is not attributable to the master, but to the son of master Andrea who is present on the day of marriage” – (while the son Giovanni who accompanied his father to the night of the Oscars when he won the statuette for the film “Django” of Tarantino)- “In a good substance what happened?!

Since that day Ennio Morricone had come late because he had the evidence at St. John's Square in Rome of the concert of May 1; and when we were seated I, Mrs. Maria, his wife, and the son, with a gesture of constipation, said "You are the illegitimate son of my father" to say that it is important the relationship between father and son and I lived through Rocco music It was a beautiful thing and I'm telling you about the 80s when they were the beginning of their collaboration with him.

What leaves the master in music and cinema?

“Leave the memory of the great compositions and very often whistled motifs that translated into music from movies. I remember that at your house there was that beautiful book of “Hollywood” where the master made a dedication. Tell us that moment?

“ Rocco gave us the book of the Oscar of Ennio Morricone on which there was a dedication ” To Roberto and Mariella on the day of the marriage of Rocco and Patrizia, Ennio Morricone”. The beautiful thing was when Rocco photographed the master who dedicated us and that photo we kept it”

How would you like to say hi?

I'm not hiding that I'm tempted to go to Rome to honor him, but we all know that, the teacher being a private person, funerals will be strictly private. I will remember it for what concerns me listening and reviewing a little all the movies. There is this thread that binds me to him and remains with Rocco”
