Dear Ricky Tognazzi and Simona Izzo,

We are the citizens of Casamassima with great emotion we wanted to look at each other together through that small screen and we wondered how our life changed after the experience we lived from last summer. we will still remember your advice and hugs and especially your affection that you have shown us. We thank you from our deep heart for giving us a truly unique and extraordinary moment: that is to be in the center of Italy and to be able to honor together with you a great champion of our century and that has given so much to our nation giving to us Italians the many real records of the world.

We thank you above all for having accompanied us, with great security and with great love, to be main protagonists and helpers in this beautiful and really moving fiction. we are grateful to you because you have made us live a really beautiful dream and you have made us believe that everything can happen in what we will do in the future. you have really been two simple people like us and above all you have made us smile at the same time exciting you have made us become once again united more than ever at the cultural level.

We conclude this letter by thanking you once again to make us stand at the center of Italian culture and fiction. for us it was a great honor to have had you and to have collaborated together with two extraordinary directors both in professional life and in real life.

With great love

The citizens of Casamassima
