Fantozzi in paradise
Who is dedicated to
Paolo Village
- Ambito
- Actor, comedian and writer

Dear readers,
the accountant Ugo Fantozzi went to Heaven really last year bringing his grace and his sympathy in our hearts. Paolo Villaggio was one of those Genoese actors who gave many Italians an almost dramatic comedy. I would like to remind him in one of his 1992 films directed by the great director Lina Wertmuler “I hope I’m the cable”, where Villaggio interpreted a master of a public elementary school in Scampia where he taught Italian to special children. Here is the Village that we adore, that is the only true mask that has given some laughs and emotions telling the current society in a burlescaous and serious way.
Paolo Villaggio is the one who, together with Eduardo De Filippo and Giorgio Albertazzi, was one of the protagonists of the theatre and the Nineteenth-century cinema, approaching his cinema and theatre to the poetics of the humor of Pirandello.
