Farewell Franco Zeffirelli
Who is dedicated to
Franco Zeffirelli
- Ambito
- Director and scenography
Dear readers,
I quote the paraphrase of a song of the Purgatory of the Divine Comedy taken from the fourteenth song: "O soul that you go to heaven when you are still inside the body, in the name of the consular charity and tell us where you come and who you are; in fact, with the grace of which you are object you make us wonder of something that has never happened".
I would like to greet the director Franco Zeffirelli so giving a simple reminder to all artists who like me want to take an example from his extraordinary talent. The Dante Alighieri of Italian cinema left; the last director, screenwriter and writer of world cinematography. From Richard Gere to Julia Roberts, from Alessandro Gasman to Alessandro Borghi winner of the David di Donatello for the film about Stefano Cucchi regret it and remember it as the last dean of world cinematography. We will miss the director, but we are sure that he has already reached the “Sun and the brother Luna” .
